About Paiute Sun Mountain
As the middle child of Pete Dye at the Las Vegas Paiute Resort, the Sun Mountain course thrives. Like its predecessor it is full of Dye trademarks, including bunkers with railroad ties. The golf course is set in the rolling terrain of the desert plain, but includes spectacular views of Mt. Charleston, a favorite mountain getaway of Las Vegas locals. The golf course was built in 1997 shortly before the clubhouse was finished in 1998.
