About Celebration Golf Club
Celebration Golf Club was designed by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Together they have crafted a masterpiece that weaves its way through old marsh lands, Florida pines and an abundance of wildlife.
Celebration Golf Club is located in Kissimmee, Florida very close to the world famous Walt Disney World Resort. Although only 6,800 yards from the back tees, the golf course features water on 17 of the 18 holes. Don’t let the length of this golf course fool you. It has played host to such prestigious events as the 2003 Florida State Public Links Championship and the 2002 US Senior Open Qualifier.
Celebration Golf Club was opened in 1996 and was designed with the shot-maker in mind. Players are forced to maneuver the ball around bunkers and the 25 lakes that surround the golf course. Most holes on the golf course have a wide open feel, but several of the holes plunge right into the dense forest of native trees and wetlands.
