Ontario is one of the most popular destinations in Canada. Ontario is the largest province in Canada with over 12 million people residing in this area. This province is an extremely popular tourist destination during both summer and winter months. The summer is a great time to explore the natural resources of this beautiful area. There are several well-known trails that will lead you to hidden caves, rushing rivers, pristine hiking trails and some of the best fishing found in the northern hemisphere.

One of the most popular tourist attractions in this province is Niagara Falls. The falls are located on both the Canadian and American sides of the borders. In addition to the falls, Niagara is a great place to gamble. There are three casinos located in Niagara, the Seneca Niagara Casino, Niagara Casino, and the Fallsview Casino and Resort. All of these resorts offer a wide variety of casino games including Blackjack, Craps and Poker. If you are more into family activities you will find zoos, marine parks and the Niagara Parks Greenhouse that features tropical birds and plants.

Ontario is the capital of Canadian golf. There are numerous world class golf courses located in this province. One of the most popular was designed by long hitting PGA Tour player John Daly. Thundering Waters is a great golf course designed by John Daly that is part of the Niagara Golf Trail. This golf trail features 6 stunning golf courses close to the falls. Most of the golf courses here are cut among the forests that are typical to the Canadian landscape. Keeping the ball in the fairway is a premium.

Just a short drive north of Toronto is the Muskoka region of Ontario. Here you will find several golf courses that will challenge any golfer. Most notably is the Mark O'Meara Golf Course. This is Mark O'Meara's first golf course design which measures out to over 7,000 yards. With dramatic elevation changes and several wetland areas to avoid, this course is a wonderful test of golf.
