North Dakota Golf Courses

North Dakota is one of the most sparsely populate states in America. With only around 700,000 people in this vast land it is only larger than Vermont and Wyoming in population. Due to the extremely climate here, heat and humidity in the summer and bitter cold in the winter, the land is not very tolerant of human life.
Much of this great land was occupied for thousands of years by Native American people. There culture and way of life can still be seen in many places around the state. This is why hunting and fishing became so popular in this state. The people of North Dakota respect their land for the things it provides, they take only what they need to survive.
Although there are not many golf courses in North Dakota there are some gems. Top of this list would have to include Hawktree Golf Club. This links style golf course is ranked among the Top 100 Public Golf courses in the country. This course only has around 80 acres of turf and blends naturally into the surrounding terrain. Other golf courses in North Dakota include The Links of North Dakota Ray and Bully Pulpit Golf Club.
