New York Golf Courses

New York City is the largest city in the United States, with such a large population there are so many things to do it would take several visits to do them all. New York City is home to some of the tallest buildings in the country and a thriving arts and theater community. Broadway is renowned for producing some of the best theater productions in the world.

Outside of New York City there are ample opportunities for fun. New York is home to several national parks. The Catskills State Park encompasses more than 700,000 acres of land in the Catskill Mountains. Home to a varied selection of wildlife the park offers camping, hiking and fishing.

Championship golf is no stranger to New York. Several times the US Open has been played on golf courses located in this state. In 2002 Tiger Woods won the US Open Championship on the Bethpage State Park, Black Course. There are 5 golf courses located on the grounds and all of them are open to the public. All of the courses are reasonable price with the black course offering the most challenge.
