New Hampshire Golf Courses

Every four years all eyes are firmly focused on the great state of New Hampshire, it is during this time that the first primaries for the presidential elections are held. New Hampshire is the first state to hold these pivotal election. New Hampshire has had a long history of firsts, including being the first state in America to have a constitution.

New Hampshire is also known for its tremendous outdoor activities. Part of the Appalachian Trail passes through this state. This trail is over 2,000 miles long and many hikers each year try to traverse the entire length.

New Hampshire is divided into several regions and depending on what time of year you visit you might be able to catch the colorful leaves that shroud the trees during the fall. Golf leaves little to the imagination in New Hampshire. Portsmouth Country Club is listed as one of the best golf courses in the state. Located in Greenland, this semi private course, has several holes in which water comes into play. Although short, the views of the surrounding countryside will keep your mind occupied.
