Hawaii Golf Courses

Hawaii was the last state to become part of the United States in 1959. Hawaii is made up of 8 separate islands: Niiahau, Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe and Hawaii. The tropical climate and sand beaches makes this a perfect family destination. There are so many interesting things to do on each of the islands. Active volcanoes, lush rainforests, and ocean life are attractive points of interest for tourists. Surprisingly, Hawaii has many different climates in the islands. You can experience a lush tropical rain forest and in the same day visit an arid desert.
Hawaii is not very big, but designers have created some very dramatic golf courses in this limited space. Maui is home to some of the most recognizable courses in the islands. The Plantation Course at Kapalua hosts a PGA Tour event every January. With its fantastic climate, it’s no wonder that this state hosts tournaments for all three of the major tours.
The highest ranked golf course in Hawaii is the Prince Course at the Princeville Resort. Located 300 feet above the Pacific Ocean, this golf course provides breathtaking vistas of ocean and mountain. Even if you don’t play well, you cannot help but have a memorable time.
