Oregon Golf Courses

The first thing that comes to mind about Oregon is the Pacific Coastline and dense forests. Both of these features contribute to the wonder of the natural landscape. Just traveling around this state looking at the scenery can occupy a whole vacation. Jump in your car and head out along the coast or inner forest for a most memorable time. Incorporating golf into this landscape would seem like an easy task. Building a great golf course takes a masterful designer and Oregon is home to courses designed by some of the greatest course architects of our time. Robert Cupp, Pumpkin Ridge, and Tom Doak, Pacific Dunes, are two of the names that have put their stamp on Oregon Golf. These two golf courses are among the most impressive golf courses Oregon has to offer. Pumpkin Ridge alone has hosted many professional tournaments including the 2003 US Women's Open. Other great golf courses around the state include Crosswater Golf Club and The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club.
