About Kansas
Kansas is located in the prairie lands of the United States. Once home to American Indians, this land was explored by the legendary Lewis and Clark. Today about 90% of the land in Kansas is devoted to farms and raising livestock. Kansas is the single largest processor of cattle in the United States. The buffalo is also making a comeback onto the plains in this great state.
