Shane has spent the last 15 years in both the golf and hospitality industries. Traveling from Alaska to Florida has given him a diverse background. After attend school at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, he started his career in golf. Shane worked in several states before finally returning to Las Vegas where he has lived for the last 10 years. Working in those diverse markets gave him the opportunity to see diverse course conditions and work with many different groups of people. Shortly after returning to Las Vegas he began working in the casino industry.

Shane studied music education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is also a Class "A" member of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA).
