There are so many great golf courses in Las Vegas, Nevada it is sometimes hard to determine which are worth the effort. In this series of articles I am presenting some suggestions for the best affordable golf courses in Las Vegas.

Located in the southwest part of the valley, Rhodes Ranch Golf Club has long been a favorite of locals. Built inside of the Rhodes Ranch housing community, this golf course was designed by Ted Robinson and opened in 1997. Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a very player-friendly layout. At the end of your round here you will not feel beat up or mentally exhausted.

One thing that makes Rhodes Ranch unique for the Las Vegas area are the numerous water hazards that come into play. The most notable hole with water is the par-3 3rd hole. This long hole is very intimidating no matter which tees you are playing from. A small pond is located along the front and right of the green. If you hit the ball left there is also a small creek that will gobble up any mis-hit shots.

Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is one of the best-conditioned golf courses any time of the year. Recently they replaced all the greens on the course to ensure they will be in top-notch shape for the upcoming golf season.

This is a fun layout to play, and the staff is extremely friendly. Rhodes Ranch pays close attention to customer service. Las Vegas is a highly competitive market when it comes to golf and most properties realize they must go the extra mile to get customers to come back.

There is a starter located on the practice facility and on the first tee. The starter on the practice facility ensures that golfers arrive at the first tee on time. The starter on the first tee will hand out any daily golf course information and answer any question the golfers may have before they tee off.

After completing your round you can head into the restaurant for a quick bite to eat. Rhodes Ranch has one of the best restaurants at any golf course in the entire city. From the layout to the customer service, Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a relaxing day on the course.
