Jay Morrish has learned from some of the greatest golf course designers of the 20th century. He has worked with Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf. Through these relationships he has blossomed into a wonderful golf course architect.
Dragon Ridge Country Club and Painted Desert Golf Course are both located in Las Vegas and have the distinctive Jay Morrish stamp. Part of his design philosophy is to create a golf course that will be player friendly and easy to be maintained. Keeping a golf course in good shape enhances the experience for the player. Both of his golf courses in Las Vegas are always in great shape.
Currently Jay Morrish works with his son. His son joined his company in 1989 and they together have created many memorable golf courses. Other course designs include the Scottsdale TPC, The Boulders and The Reserve.
