Mexico is home to the second most popular travel destination in the world - Cancun. Famous for its sun-drenched beaches, relaxing pace, and local flavors, Mexico offers plenty of distractions from everyday life.
One of the country's most popular tourist destinations is Cabo San Lucas. This resort town is located on the southern tip of Baja California on the west coast. Cabo is a great place to get away from it all.
One of the biggest businesses in Cabo, and a favorite activity for many visitors is deep sea fishing. Visitors can charter a boat for an amazing sport fishing experience where they can catch Pacific Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Roosterfish, a variety of Marlin, and many others. Whale watching is also available from November to January. Of course, other water sports like water-skiing, boating, and jet-skiing abound in Cabo San Lucas.
With the sunny days and warm weather year-round, golf is a natural and perfect fit for this resort town. Courses like Palmilla, Cabo Del Sol, Cabo Real, and Cabo San Lucas Country Club have set the standard for Mexican resort golf. With designs from big-name designers including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf, Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and Pete Dye, these upscale golf courses will keep you on your toes. Few Mexican resorts can claim to provide golf at the same caliber as Cabo San Lucas.
