Legend Trail Golf Club

Legend Trail Golf Course located in North Scottsdale adjacent to Troon, with holes named "Painted Desert", "Water Chant" and "Good Medicine", the par 72, 6,700 yard championship layout captures the spirit and the atmosphere of the surrounding Sonoran desert.
Typical of a Rees Jones design, Legend Trail Golf Course is a very user-friendly layout. Every fairway bunker is positioned parallel to the line of flight, so as not to interfere with those who can hit the generous fairways. Every green is nicely framed with bunkers, and there's always a wide ramp leading to the green for those who can't get the ball airborne. The only cross hazards are a few dry desert washes, but they're narrow, shallow, and avoidable. The most photographed hole on the course -- the short par-4 14th -- has a particularly attractive dry wash, but favorites include the diagonal one in front of the green on the even-shorter par-4 sixth, and the one on the par-5 16th that slashes across the fairway, then curves around in front of the green.
Legend Trail Golf Club is operated by Troon Golf and lives up to that name with its outstanding customer service and superior playing surfaces. Pinnacle Peak and other well-known landmarks constitute the spectacular vistas that grace this course, and the diverse and unique shot-making situations will provide players of all levels with a healthy challenge. One of the premier 18-hole championship golf courses to be introduced to avid golfers of Arizona, this spectacular club will captivate players with its beautiful scenery, traditional layout and superb conditions. It is a thinking player's golf course that will tempt you on the par 5's and challenge your short game skills as well. Legend Trail Golf Club has been rated four times by Golf Digest as one of America's 100 greatest golf courses.
