"The two flag system is very popular with our members. It allows players of different abilities, to play the course and have a great time doing it." says Cameron Ludwig, Assistant Professional at Desert Mountain. One memorable hole on the back nine is a 230 yard par-3 that plays over water there is literally nowhere to miss the ball on this hole! You're either going to hit the green or the water.

Another great golf complex in Carefree, Arizona is The Boulders Resort. This five star resort is home to two world class golf courses, the North and South. Both golf courses are set amongst the mammoth boulders that dot the landscape in this part of Arizona. As you enter Boulders you become mesmerized by the large mountain of boulders at the center of the property, it almost appears as if the slightest breeze will start an avalanche of massive rocks and boulders onto the structures below.

Both golf courses were designed by Jay Morrish and fit perfectly within the Sonoran Desert. The Resort is also home to a state of the art Spa, the Golden Door Spa is the perfect place for the non-golfing members of your group to spend their afternoons as you play your round of golf.
